R E P O R T

Precisely the procedure and technique I went through to complete this work, in point of fact it was not straightforward at all. Because I originally hard to create an account with blogger, and bravehost.com but out of the blue I forgot that I have been using the same password to open the two accounts, which resulted to opening of a new account, so I hard to start all over again, because I can’t login into the previous accounts any more, I decided to generate another account as well as to meet up with the demands of the assignment, because time was not on my side. But regardless of the problems, my progression and process was absolutely all right.
The apparatus and technologies I learned and used during this project was that I had to buy a html Text-Book from the book shop, because that was the only way I could have gotten the project done, because I have not done project like this before, I also had to call on my friend who has done it pass semester, as well as to support my acquaintance of understanding. I also learned how to:
To add a Template, Gadgets and create my own page.
I learned how to build an account with free website, and also how to create an html page, and a blog. In reality, I have learned a set of things that I can’t point out.
The advantages of this technologies and its tools is that it helps to better and give colors to your HOME PAGE and to beautify the settings of your page; the illustration of this technology are gadget and template, gadget is the best search engine one can use in searching for an information through the internet, and it is the easier way of transmitting information, it is the more efficient way of learning educational computer programs, and it is more easy to get to. While the work of a template is to select or set your Home Page colors. In adding to this you, can also customize your own template by selecting you best colors.
Some disadvantages of this technologies/tools is that when uploading gadget or files to the web server the internet speed becomes very unbearable, and it will result to turning off the computer system.
The complicatedness I faced while debugging the html codes, was that I was unable to in key in the codes correctly and for that i was unable to get the output that I want, this was the most complicated part of this project, because after coding the html, my output displayed a different thing all together, which means that I have to check for coding mistakes. So I had to shut down my system, and continued after having my rest.
My experience and difficulty I face when searching for a appropriate web hosting server was that I didn’t really know much about brave host and how it operates , but I knew the procedure wouldn’t be that difficult compared to other part of the project, because it was not that confusing .
I faced a lot difficulty when uploading files to the web server, that was one of the complex part of this project, because when uploading files to the web server, sometimes the service will be slow and my system will start having problems and it will eventually result to lose of data’s.
The process and experience/difficulty that I faced when creating a blog was also among the tricky part of this project. For instance I created a blog, but it wasn’t really showing the things that I wanted and the things that the lecturer requested for, so I had to open about five blogs before I was able to get the work done as directed... Even at that I had problems with the beautifying of my page, and the selection of the page color and gadgets. I was unable to type my URL at once on the web, but that was taken care of with the help of my group member. I also get to notice that everything about blog has to be done step by step and not to rush everything at a go.
In general, what I have learned about this assignment is not all about doing the project, but it is a huge accomplishment for me, and I guess it has done same to students of Business Information System (BIS). In adding together, I have learned how to create a blog account and how blog operates, and I have also known how to make an html page using Notepad. In actuality this project has increased my familiarity with technology and the internet, I can now code with notepad without looking for any help.
Things I will do differently if I am going to work on this project again are that:
- Personally, I will like to create a website of my own, where fans and loved once can meet and chat with each other and also do business.
-Secondly, I will like to take on advertising of products, schools, and buildings, using my blog and other web site.
-Thirdly, the option of investing in technology and teaching people how to use the html will be the first thing I will have in mind, because I wouldn’t like them to go true the things I went true.
-Finally, I will make sure I finish my work very well and onetime and it’s going to be different from the first one, as per the designs, arrangement and creativity, it’s going to be a fabulous project.
